The Institute for Marine Mammal Studies is a non-profit organization that provides public education, conservation and research on marine mammals. They are also the premier stranding organization in the Gulf region of Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama as they rehabilitate sick and injured marine mammals.

Follow the sea turtles that were rescued during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, rehabilitated at IMMS, and later released. These 6 Kemp Ridley’s have satellite tracking devices that will yield valuable information about their migration patterns. Their movements resemble my first attempts of drawing with crayons!
